Based in Indiana, Anna Poltrack earned a master’s degree in education from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. Anna Poltrack also holds a bachelor’s degree in English and film from the University of Notre Dame, where she achieved a place on the dean’s list.
An experienced education professional, Anna Poltrack has served as a graduate studies coordinator at Notre Dame since 2022. In this role, she oversees student applications and recruitment processes in the economics department. In addition, she provides administrative support to graduate students and department staff.
Prior to assuming this role, Ms. Poltrack became a member of Teach for America and taught English language arts at West Side Charter School and Higher Ground Secondary Academy, both in St. Paul, Minnesota. Certified as a Red Cross lifeguard, she was a lifeguard and swim instructor with the City of Mountain View in California, where she worked from 2012 to 2017.
Away from work, Ms. Poltrack enjoys cooking, drawing, gardening, and reading novels. She is the founder of the Ketchup Creative Writing Club, which supports the collegiate writing community.
